At the turn of the century, Elena Urizar began working on what is now known as user experience, advocating the integration of this discipline as a strategic element for business development and collaborating with customers in the establishment of dialogue between
their brand and the new communication channels.
Her career can be defined as multidisciplinary. In earlier stages she worked as graphic designer at the Guggenheim Museum in New York and also as creative and account manager in various advertising agencies.
For more than 10 years she was responsible of defining and coordinating UX projects at the IT company, Indra Sistemas.
Currently she is implementing the value of the combination of experiences as an independent professional of the visual practice and acting as an active part of IFVP (International Forum of Visual Practitioners).
BA in Fine Arts and MA in Corporate Communication, she also became and expert in
Nutrition and Dietetics Planning and took courses in Relational Coaching.
Technical Engineer in Computer Science and PG in Strategic Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Agile Coach, Lean Green Belt Six Sigma, specialist in team coaching and systemic leadership and certified trainer of the Bikablo methodology.
His professional career has been related to software development and project management, specializing in the design and management of teams aimed at evolving work forms.
As a result of his experience in software engineering project management, in the creation
of standards and development frameworks, in the implementation of Lean methodologies,
and above all, directing teams, he considers that, in the process of digital transformation, the main focus should be the people.
Organizations should place more emphasis on incorporating the human dimension in the
definition of the roadmap of their digital transformation.
